Sunday 6th – Gravel Surfers
- Mount Potts & Erewhon
- Meet at 0830 Shell Service Station, Yaldhurst
- Lead rider is Jeff Louwman (03) 351-8109
- Bring a cut lunch and something to drink
- For those of you who will be joining Geoff Louwman on Fathers day to ride to Mount Potts need to bring a cut lunch and a beverage of your choice. The route is hard packed metal road so will accommodate the adventure seeking road bike owner too.
- The proposed route is to go via Hororat, Rakai Gorge to Mt Somers and onto to Lake Clearwater and Mount Potts Station. There will be an option 1/2 km walk to Mount Sunday (site of Edoras in Lord of the Rings). Return via Methven for afternoon lunch or Hororata for a beer and pie and back to Christchurch.
Sunday 20th – Tarbabies
- Pleasant Point or Timaru for lunch via Inland Scenic Route through Geraldine & Fairlie. If keen can carry onto to Pareora Gorge and view some Maori Rock drawings.
- Depart BP Rolleston at 0900.
- Visit Chequered Flag cafe in Rangitata
Sunday 27th – Brunch Run
- Norwester Cafe, Amberley. Meet there at 1030.
